15 tons of food donated to 11 organizations
This past Christmas, LAMDA Flisvos Marina S.A., in collaboration with LAMDA Development, carried out a heartfelt act of solidarity and care. Partnering with the non-profit organization Wise Greece, the companies donated 15 tons of essential food supplies to 11 organizations across the regions where the Group operates.
This social awareness and giving initiative involved both LAMDA Development employees and visitors of Flisvos Marina and the Group’s shopping centers (The Mall Athens, Golden Hall, Mediterranean Cosmos, and Designer Outlet Athens), all joining forces to share love and optimism with people in need—especially during the festive season.
Each LAMDA Development employee selected a local organization in one of the municipalities where the company is active—Elliniko, Alimos, Glyfada, Maroussi, Spata, and Thessaloniki—to receive a HOPE Box, each containing 10 kilograms of food items.
The HOPE Boxes were distributed to the following organizations:
The Day Care Center for People with Disabilities “The Good Samaritan”
The Rehabilitation and Recovery Branch for Children with Disabilities (formerly PIKPA)
The Cerebral Palsy Greece – Open Door foundation
The child welfare home "Agios Andreas"
The Parents & Friends Association of People with Autism “Agios Nikolaos”
The Hatzikonsta Foundation
The Friends of Children with Cancer Association “Storgi”
In addition, through the initiative “Every Visit Counts”, LAMDA Development converted every visit to Flisvos Marina and its commercial centers during the holidays into additional food donations, which were offered to local organizations, including:
Melissa Girls’ Orphanage in Thessaloniki
The Municipal Social Grocery of Pallini
The Municipal Social Grocery of Paleo Faliro
The Municipal Social Grocery of Maroussi
The “HOPE Boxes” were delivered in person by LAMDA Development employee teams, who had the opportunity to meet and connect directly with both the beneficiaries and the people who care for them with love and dedication each day. The visits were filled with meaningful conversations, warm wishes for the new year, and smiles of joy and hope.
