Together for Change!

On November 29th, Flisvos Marina proudly hosted the Municipality of Paleo Faliro as part of the European Week for Waste Reduction (EWWR), aiming to raise awareness on food waste reduction and promote sustainable bio-waste management.

During the event:
Participants were informed about the importance of waste reduction and the use of brown household bins and compostable bags for the separate collection of organic waste.

Speakers included:
Mr. Stavros Katsikadis, CEO of LAMDA Flisvos Marina S.A. and Head of LAMDA Marinas, and Mr. Yiannis Fostiropoulos, Mayor of Paleo Faliro.

The event also welcomed students from the 1st Junior High School of Paleo Faliro, who learned how organic waste can be transformed into valuable compost, contributing to the school’s environmental education and broader awareness.

With everyone’s participation, we took an important step towards a more sustainable planet!
