Flisvos Marina of LAMDA Development, one of Europe’s leading marinas, broke new ground by hosting the 1st Training & Career Day in Marina Management — an initiative that highlights its commitment to innovation and excellence in the sector.

Held on November 26th, 2023, at Flisvos Marina in Paleo Faliro, the event aimed to strengthen the marina’s position as a global benchmark in marina operations while continuing its long-standing investment in human capital.

In celebration of its 20-year award-winning journey, the marina welcomed over 100 participants, offering them a unique opportunity to explore the inner workings of Flisvos Marina through a series of presentations by experienced executives, interactive workshops, hands-on sessions, and mini-interviews.

Beyond showcasing best practices in marina management, the event served to raise awareness about career prospects within LAMDA Development’s network of marinas — attracting the attention of many young professionals eager to pursue a career in the management of tourist ports.
