• 24/7 Security Services and Patrol
The entry-exit points in the marina are controlled by security guards who work closely with the Flisvos Port Police and marina staff to monitor the premises 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

  • 24/7 Watch Tower
A two-level watch tower in the middle of the port offers a 360-degree view of the port.

  • Safety and Fire Fighting Equipment
Flisvos Marina is fully equipped with fire hydrants, concentrated foam, CO2 and dry powder fire extinguishers, all of which are placed at locations marked at 50 metres apart as well as with a specialized multi-use tender (fire-fighting through sea, thrust, big boat towing).
Life-saving equipment (life jackets, buoys, ladders) are evenly distributed according to marine safety regulations. Furthermore, the road along the quay is specially designed to allow local fire fighting vehicles to access the piers easily and quickly.

  • Fire Detection and Warning System
A fire detection and warning system is maintained in the main power station, in the electrical substations on the piers and in the Administration Offices.

  • Fire-Fighting & Crisis Management Drills
Continuous fire-fighting and crisis management drills constitute a major part of Flisvos Marina's staff training programmes. The drills are conducted on a consistent basis and address various scenarios including fire, explosion, terrorist threat and urgent evacuation. Regular drills ensure that our team is fully prepared to address emergency crises and leverage all available equipment and resources appropriately.
